I am Ivan Chan from Renaissance College, Hong Kong. This book/report is a product of my personal project. It is created to raise awareness of 3 infectious diseases that have caused most deaths in the world. The 3 diseases include: Malaria, Tuberculosis, and HIV. These diseases have different routes of transmission such as vector-borne transmission, air-borne transmission and transmission by direct contact. Throughout this book, detailed investigation will be carried out in 2 countries, Nigeria and India, since each country contains either 1 or 2 of these infectious diseases. Through investigating a specific country, I can analyse the reasons why this country has the highest death rates. This book will also mention different prevention procedures, eradication methods and how globalisation has contributed to these diseases.
